The Municipality of Castillejos began the week with its regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony led by the Office of the Municipal Mayor.

After the ceremony, the Castillejos Zumba Fitness Group (Hip Shakers) once again brought energy and fun as they performed a lively dance for everyone in attendance.

In observance of Nutrition Month 2026, Municipal Nutrition Action Officer Ma’am Gina Villanueva delivered a short message highlighting the importance of proper nutrition and encouraging everyone to adopt healthier eating habits and lifestyles.

The Municipal Agriculture Office also distributed vegetable seedlings to all barangays to support backyard gardening and promote food sustainability in the community.

The KADIWA ng Pangulo was likewise set up at the Municipal Park grounds, giving employees and residents the opportunity to purchase fresh produce and other basic goods at affordable prices.
